The BBT-WS1 easily measures the resistance of a wristband and cord or heel/toe grounder as worn by the operator. The BBT-WS1 has a test range of 750 kilohms to 10 megohms.
To check wrist straps and other personnel grounding equipment, first ensure that there is good contact to the wearer, then connect the coil cord to the BBT-WS1 and press the TEST button. A green LED will indicate correct resistance and an audible buzzer will sound on pass. If the strap or coil fails the red LED will light. There is also a yellow LED to warn of low battery power.
